Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Add the eggs, oil, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients. Whisk well to combine.
  4. Add Hot Water: Carefully add the hot water to the batter, whisking until smooth.
