A delicious and hearty Turkey Melt sandwich with layers of cheddar cheese, spinach, bacon, and turkey, all grilled to perfection on sourdough bread with a hint of honey mustard. Perfect for a comforting lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Bread:

  • 4 slices sourdough (or thick, crusty bread of choice)

Spread:

  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard

Cheese:

  • 2 slices white cheddar cheese

Protein:

  • 4 slices deli turkey

Veggies:

  • Thin tomato slices (from 1 medium red tomato)
  • ½ cup fresh baby spinach

Additional:

  • 4 strips cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter (softened)

Instructions

  1. To Assemble the Sandwiches Place 4 slices of sourdough on a flat surface. Spread honey mustard on each slice. Top 2 slices with cheddar cheese, turkey, tomato, spinach, and bacon. Close the sandwiches.
  2. To Warm Sandwich Spread butter on the outside of each slice. Toast in a skillet until golden and cheese is melted.
