Cake:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Three Milks:

  • 1 12-ounces can evaporated milk
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup whole milk

Whipped Topping:

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar or powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ground Cinnamon and/or Fresh Strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a 9×13 inch pan with non-stick spray. Combine dry ingredients. Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks with sugar, milk, and vanilla. Mix egg yolk mixture with dry ingredients. Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into batter. Bake and cool.
  2. Three Milks: Combine evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and whole milk. Poke holes in cooled cake. Pour milk mixture over the cake. Chill.
  3. Whipped Topping: Whip cream, sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over cake. Garnish with cinnamon and strawberries.
