  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Apple Layer:

  • 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

For the Cheesecake:

  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

For the Salted Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).

    Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until combined.

  2. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

    Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool.

  3. In a large bowl, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour.

    Toss to coat and spread apples evenly over the cooled crust.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream until fully incorporated.

  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over the apple layer in the pan.

    Bake for 60-70 minutes until almost set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

  6. To make salted caramel sauce, heat sugar in a saucepan until melted and amber-colored.

    Add butter, then slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring. Stir in sea salt, then drizzle over chilled cheesecake before serving.
