  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-Ins:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (substitute with pecans or almonds if preferred)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  2. Add the Mix-Ins: Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet. Press mini marshmallows on top of each cookie.
