  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (pulp strained)
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp regular soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb skinless boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or 2 tbsp for Air Frying)
  • 1/2 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp orange zest, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Coat the Chicken: Dice chicken thighs into bite-size pieces. Coat with cornstarch.
  3. Fry the Chicken: Sear coated chicken in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Make the Orange Glaze: In the same pan, cook the sauce until thickened.
