Dough:
500 g Bread flour or all-purpose flour (4 cups)
160 ml Warm milk (2/3 cup)
160 ml Warm water (2/3 cup)
10 g Instant dry yeast (1.5 tbsp)
10 g Sugar (1 tbsp)
8 g Salt (0.8 tbsp)
Topping (optional):
20 g Melted unsalted butter (or olive oil)
Chopped parsley
Instructions
Mix Wet Ingredients: Combine warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast in a container and mix well.
Add Dry Ingredients: Mix in flour and salt until a smooth dough forms.
Knead Dough: Knead the dough until smooth and not sticky.
Proof Dough: Let the dough rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Shape and Roll: Divide dough, shape into rounds, and flatten to 18 cm rounds.
Cook: Heat a pan, cook bread on both sides until bubbly and puffed.
Finish: Brush with butter or olive oil before serving.
