Doughnut Ingredients:
- 1 cup Glutinous Rice Flour
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- ¼ tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Butter
- ½ cup Hot Water (or as needed)
Coating:
- ½ cup Caster Sugar
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- Prepare Cinnamon Sugar Coating: Mix caster sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl. Set aside.
- Make the Doughnuts: In a bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and butter. Gradually add hot water, knead the dough well, and let it rest for 5 minutes. Form small balls from the dough.
- Fry the Doughnuts: Heat oil for frying. Fry the doughnut balls on medium-low heat for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
