Ingredients

Scale

Fruits and Flavoring

  • 2 Oranges bien mûres (ripe oranges)
  • 0.5 gousse Vanille (half a vanilla bean)

Dairy

  • 2 Boules de glace vanille (2 scoops of vanilla ice cream)
  • 50 cl Lait (50 cl milk)
  • 2 cuil. à soupe Lait concentré sucré (2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla bean: Split the vanilla bean pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds carefully using the tip of a knife. Place the seeds into the bowl of a blender to infuse the milkshake with authentic vanilla flavor.
  2. Peel the oranges: Peel the oranges thoroughly, removing as much of the white pith as possible to avoid bitterness and ensure a smooth, sweet taste in the milkshake.
  3. Combine all ingredients: Add the peeled oranges, vanilla ice cream, milk, and sweetened condensed milk into the blender along with the vanilla seeds. Blend the mixture until completely smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Serve immediately: Pour the creamy orange-vanilla milkshake into two large glasses and enjoy without delay for the best fresh flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a thicker milkshake, use less milk or add extra ice cream.
  • If fresh vanilla bean is unavailable, a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract can be substituted.
  • Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of sweetened condensed milk to taste.
  • Use very ripe oranges for maximum juice and sweetness.
  • This milkshake is best served immediately to enjoy the freshest citrus flavor.
