  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Additional Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breast cutlets (or 2 breasts cut in half)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 lemon, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Olive Oil Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and lemon zest. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Breading: In another bowl, mix the flour, bread crumbs, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, parsley, and paprika. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip each chicken cutlet in the olive oil mixture, then coat with the breading. Cook the cutlets for 5-6 minutes on each side.
  4. Finish Cooking: Add lemon slices to the skillet and continue cooking until the chicken reaches 160°F (71°C) internally. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
