For the Lasagna:
- 1 box of lasagna noodles
- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cook the lasagna noodles: Prepare according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Saute garlic and shrimp: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic, then cook shrimp until pink. Set shrimp aside.
- Prepare garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, stir in flour, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan, season.
- Preheat and layer: Preheat oven. In a baking dish, layer sauce, noodles, sauce, shrimp, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve: Let cool, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
