  • 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked al dente
  • Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Cheese:

  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Onion Mixture:

  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Sauce:

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Seasonings:

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken pieces with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Onion Mixture: In the same skillet, cook onion in butter until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce: Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Add spaghetti and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Add Cheese: Sprinkle Monterey Jack cheese over the top. Cover and melt the cheese.
  7. Finish and Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
