Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 10-ounce bag fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 14-ounce can artichoke hearts, roughly chopped
  • 1 8-ounce block cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese cubes, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, shredded Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the crock pot. Stir the mixture well to evenly distribute all ingredients.
  2. Slow Cook: Cover the crock pot with the lid and set the heat to LOW. Cook for 2 hours total, stirring once at the 1-hour mark to ensure even cooking and prevent burning. Replace the lid after stirring and continue cooking for the remaining hour.
  3. Adjust and Serve: After 2 hours of cooking, stir the dip well and taste. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve warm with your favorite crackers, chips, or sliced bread for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh spinach with frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained) if fresh is unavailable.
  • For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free cream cheese, sour cream alternatives, and cheese substitutes.
  • To keep the dip warm for serving, set the crock pot to the ‘warm’ setting after cooking.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time and reheated in the crock pot or oven before serving.
  • Adding a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes can introduce a slight heat if desired.
