Scale

Ranch Dressing Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup buttermilk or whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • Pinch ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, dried dill, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
  2. Use or store. Use the dressing immediately for fresh flavor, or transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep well for up to one week, allowing the flavors to meld even more.

Notes

  • For a thinner consistency, add more buttermilk or milk to your taste.
  • Fresh herbs can be substituted for dried for a brighter flavor; use about three times the amount.
  • This dressing is great as a dip for veggies, chicken wings, or chips.
  • Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container and consume within seven days.
  • Shake or stir well before each use as separation may occur.
