  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

For Garnish:

  • Green onions

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl; add diced chicken, marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch slurry; set aside.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Stir-fry marinated chicken until cooked; set aside.
  4. Sauté the Aromatics: Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  5. Cook the Vegetables: Add cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot; stir-fry until tender.
  6. Combine and Add the Sauce: Return chicken to skillet, add sauce, cook to thicken.
  7. Final Touches: Adjust seasoning, serve hot with green onions.
