Brownie Layer:

  • 1 stick (113 grams) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (85 grams) unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (62 grams) all-purpose flour

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 24 ounces (680 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (59 grams) heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup homemade salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Make the brownie layer: Preheat the oven to 325°F. Spray a 9-inch springform pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir in vanilla and eggs, then add flour. Spread into pan and bake for 15 minutes. Cool and chill.
