Chicken:
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
Dip:
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s Red Hot)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 green onions (thinly sliced, white and green parts separated)
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder, white parts of green onion, sour cream, 1/2 cup cheddar, and 1/2 cup mozzarella. Add hot sauce and shredded chicken.
- Transfer to dish: Put the mixture into an oven-safe dish and top with the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella.
- Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes until hot and bubbly. For a golden top, broil for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish: Garnish with the remaining green onion slices.
